Author(s): Andris Apse
The most successful large format pictorial book over the last decade has been Andris Apse's "New Zealand Landscapes". He was the first photographer to seriously tackle New Zealand's scenery with a panoramic camera, and his work remains the benchmark by which all are judged. This best-selling work, first published in 1994, has been revised and refreshed. While retaining the current structure and format, every photo has been rescanned to utilise the better digital technology that is now available; the design has been modernised and the overall quality of printing has been raised.
