Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm is Anishnawbekwe from the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation at Neyaashiinigmiing, in southwestern Ontario Canada. She is a writer, creative-writing instructor, First Nations communications consultant and arts organizer. Her work has been published in journals, magazines, and anthologies in Canada, the USA, Aotearoa, Australia and Germany.
